Mission Statement
To prepare students for eternity, by providing an excellent education that seeks a balanced development of the whole person – intellectually, physically, and spiritually:  Building Character for Eternity.

Vision Statement
To journey ever forward in serving both local and global communities by providing state-of-the-art Christian education to all who seek the good news of the gospel message.

Our Philosophy
"Character building is the most important work ever entrusted to human beings" (Education, p. 225). The ultimate objective of developing a sound Christian character is sought by the application of Bible principles to daily life. We seek to train Christian youth in the highest principles of Christian leadership, self-discipline, individual responsibility, personal integrity, and good citizenship.

The Dickson Adventist School provides a nurturing environment for each student to realize their full potential and thrive as efficiently as possible. We believe real success comes from Christ-centered values; and our students are presented with the message of salvation through Jesus Christ on a daily basis.

A low student-teacher ratio is essential for the teacher to interact with each student on a more individualized level. Teachers in a small classroom setting, are able to indentify the academic strengths and challenges of each student, and address them more quickly than in a high volume size classroom.

In Adventist education, the home, school, and church cooperate together in preparing students for citizenship here on earth and in the new earth to come.
Dickson Adventist School is operated in harmony with the guidance and direction of the Office of Education, North American Division of the Seventh-day Adventist Church, the Southern Union Conference, and the Kentucky-Tennessee Conference of Seventh-day Adventists.
